  • Description

The 3M Finesse It Marine Car Paste is a heavy-duty paste compound formulated to eliminate light surface defects—such as minor scratches, oxidation, yellowing, rust stains, and exhaust residue—from gelcoats, paintwork, and clear coats. Its specialised abrasive mineral restores deep shine to faded surfaces, making it perfect for prepping before polishing and waxing.

Key Features

  • Effective Scratch & Oxidation Removal
Cuts through P800–P1200 sanding marks, light surface scratches, oxidation, stains, or rust—reviving gloss on worn surfaces.

  • Gloss-Enhancing Formula
Renders a smooth, high-gloss finish that effectively sets the stage for final polishing or waxing.

  • Gentle on Light-Colored Gelcoats
Its white paste base helps minimize staining risk on pale finishes.

  • Extended Working Window
Stays workable longer, reducing heat buildup and material waste during hand or machine application.

Directions for Use

  1. Clean and dry the surface.

  2. Apply a small dollop to a foam or wool polishing pad.

  3. Work in overlapping, circular passes—either by hand or machine.

  4. Continue until the paste begins to clear and gloss appears.

  5. Wipe off residue and follow up with a fine polish or wax for a mirror-like finish.
