Onkyo X-QD1120 Pro 9-Inch Android Multimedia Player | 4GB RAM + 64GB Storage | DSP with 32-Band EQ | GPS & Wi-Fi | 1280 × 720 TFT Display | Bluetooth 4.2 | 4 × 50W

The Onkyo X-QD1120 Pro is a 9-inch Android multimedia player with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, DSP with a 32-band equaliser, GPS navigation, Wi-Fi, a 1280 × 720 TFT display, Bluetooth 4.2, 4 × 50W maximum power, FM and AM radio, a chargeable USB port and support for the most common video and audio formats. Below is what each feature does and why it matters.

9-Inch 1280 × 720 TFT Display

The 9-inch TFT display has a 1280 × 720 (HD) resolution, a contrast ratio of 500 and a brightness of 500 nit. The HD resolution keeps maps, menus and video sharp, and the 500 nit brightness helps the screen stay clear and readable in daylight.

4GB RAM and 64GB Storage

4GB of RAM keeps apps responsive and helps with multitasking, while 64GB of storage gives you space for apps, music, video and offline data.

Android Multimedia Player with OY13.0

The X-QD1120 Pro is an Android multimedia player running the OY13.0 operating system, so you get an app-based interface for your media and entertainment instead of a basic radio display.

DSP with 32-Band Equaliser

The built-in DSP (digital sound processor) shapes the signal before it reaches your speakers. Its 32-band equaliser splits the sound into thirty-two frequency ranges, giving you very fine control over bass, mids and treble. You can tune the sound to suit your speakers, your car's cabin and your taste in music.

Wi-Fi Connectivity

Wi-Fi lets you connect the player to your phone's hotspot or a network for online apps, streaming and map updates.

GPS Navigation

GPS navigation support gives you real-time location tracking and turn-by-turn directions through compatible navigation apps, so you can find your way without relying on your phone's screen.

Bluetooth 4.2 + EDR

Bluetooth 4.2 with EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) connects your phone for hands-free calling and wireless audio streaming. It is a Standard Power Class 2 device working on the 2.4GHz band, with a maximum communication range of 5 metres, which is plenty for any cabin.

4 × 50W Maximum Power Output

The built-in amplifier delivers up to 4 × 50W across four channels. Maximum power is the peak the amplifier can deliver. It drives speakers of 4 to 8Ω, which covers most factory and aftermarket car speakers.

Pre-Output for External Amplifiers

The 1V front output (10kΩ) with a pre-output impedance of 600Ω or less lets you connect an external amplifier. This is useful if you later want to add an amplifier or a subwoofer for stronger sound.

FM and AM Radio

The tuner covers FM from 87.5 to 108.0MHz and MW (AM) from 522 to 1620kHz, so you can listen to local FM stations as well as AM broadcasts.

USB Port: Playback and Charging

The USB port reads media from a drive and charges your phone at 5V ± 0.25V / 1A. It is a convenient way to play your own music and videos and top up your phone on the move.

Wide Video and Audio Format Support

The player supports H264, MP4, AVI, MKV and FLV video, and MP3, APE, AAC and FLAC audio. That covers most downloaded files, including lossless FLAC and APE audio for listeners who care about sound quality.

External Video Input

The external video input supports NTSC, PAL and SECAM signals at 1Vp-p / 75Ω, so you can connect compatible video sources. Camera compatibility should be confirmed before purchase.

Slim Installation and Wide Operating Range

The unit needs an installation thickness of just 42mm, which helps it fit behind the dash. It runs on 14.4V (10.5 to 16V) and is built to operate from -10°C to +60°C, with a storage temperature range of -20°C to +70°C, so it copes with hot summers and cool mornings. The 9-inch model weighs 748g.

Compatibility and Installation

Before purchase, please confirm that your dashboard can fit a 9-inch unit, and check the mounting frame, wiring harness and vehicle-specific compatibility for your car. Professional installation is recommended for correct wiring and fitment.
