Onkyo X-QD1160 PRO 9-Inch Android Multimedia Player | CarPlay & Android Auto | 2GB RAM + 32GB Storage | INCELL 2.5D 1280 × 720 | 12-Band EQ | 5GHz Wi-Fi & GPS | 2 Years Warranty

The Onkyo X-QD1160 PRO is a 9-inch Android multimedia player with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, an INCELL 2.5D display at 1280 × 720, a 12-band equaliser, 5GHz Wi-Fi, GPS navigation, phone mirroring for iPhone and Android, 1080P camera input, 4 × 50W maximum power and a 2-year warranty. Below is what each feature does and why it matters.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto bring your phone's navigation, calls, messages and music to the car's screen in a simple, driving-friendly layout. You can use maps, voice commands and your favourite music apps without picking up your phone. Phone compatibility should be confirmed before purchase.

9-Inch INCELL 2.5D Display

The 9-inch display uses INCELL technology, which builds the touch sensing into the display panel itself, helping keep the screen slim and responsive. The 2.5D glass has gently curved edges for a smooth, modern look. At 1280 × 720 (HD) resolution, with a contrast ratio of 500 and a brightness of 500 nit, maps, menus and video stay sharp, and the screen stays clear and readable in daylight.

2GB RAM and 32GB Storage

2GB of RAM supports everyday apps such as navigation and music, and 32GB of storage gives you space for apps, music, video and offline map data.

Android Multimedia Player with OY13.0

The X-QD1160 PRO is an Android multimedia player running the OY13.0 operating system, so you get an app-based interface for your media and entertainment instead of a basic radio display.

Phone Mirroring for iPhone and Android

Phone mirroring shows your phone's screen on the car display, for both iPhone and Android. It lets you use compatible phone apps on the larger screen. Phone and app compatibility should be confirmed before purchase.

5GHz Wi-Fi (WLAN)

The built-in 5GHz Wi-Fi connects the player to your phone's hotspot or a network for online apps, streaming and map updates. The 5GHz band is typically faster and less crowded than 2.4GHz, which helps streaming run more smoothly.

GPS Navigation

GPS navigation support gives you real-time location tracking and turn-by-turn directions through compatible navigation apps, so you can find your way without relying on your phone's screen.

12-Band Equaliser

The 12-band equaliser splits the sound into twelve frequency ranges, so you can raise or lower the bass, mids and treble in fine steps. You can shape the sound to suit your speakers, your car's cabin and your taste in music.

1080P Camera Input

The 1080P camera input lets you connect a compatible camera, such as a reverse camera, and view its picture in full HD on the screen. The camera is not part of the player, so please confirm camera compatibility before purchase.

Bluetooth 4.2 + EDR

Bluetooth 4.2 with EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) connects your phone for hands-free calling and wireless audio streaming, with a range of 5 metres on the 2.4GHz band, which is plenty for any cabin.

4 × 50W Maximum Power Output

The built-in amplifier delivers up to 4 × 50W across four channels. Maximum power is the peak the amplifier can deliver. It drives speakers of 4 to 8 ohms, which covers most factory and aftermarket car speakers.

Pre-Output for External Amplifiers

The 1V front pre-output (10 kohm) lets you connect an external amplifier. This is useful if you later want to add an amplifier or a subwoofer for stronger sound.

FM and MW Radio

The tuner covers FM from 87.5 to 108.0MHz and MW (AM) from 522 to 1620kHz, so you can listen to local FM stations as well as AM broadcasts.

External Video Input

The external video input supports NTSC, PAL and SECAM signals at 1Vp-p / 75 ohm, so you can connect compatible video sources.

Wide Video and Audio Format Support

The player supports H264, MP4, AVI, MKV and FLV video, and MP3, APE, AAC and FLAC audio. That covers most downloaded files, including lossless FLAC and APE audio for listeners who care about sound quality.

Slim Installation and Power

The unit needs an installation thickness of just 42mm, which helps it fit behind the dash. It runs on 14.4V (10.5 to 16V), and the 9-inch model weighs 748g.

2 Years Warranty

The Onkyo X-QD1160 PRO comes with a 2-year warranty.

Compatibility and Installation

Before purchase, please confirm that your dashboard can fit a 9-inch unit, and check the mounting frame, wiring harness and vehicle-specific compatibility for your car. Professional installation is recommended for correct wiring and fitment.
